Hailed as the "Heifetz of the English
horn" by the New York Times and "a poet among craftsmen" by Leonard
Bernstein, Thomas Stacey has appeared as soloist with many major orchestras
in addition to more than 50 solo appearances with the New York Philharmonic.
He also holds the distinction of being the most recorded English hornist in
the world, and Cala Records are proud to add to his recordings with this intriguing
collection of twentieth-century works.
