Review:
"This is all very listenable, pleasant, chummy music that demands little and rewards much if one is in the mood for it. it is jazz-littered, as one would expect from this source, but it's not too much. After so many years, Baker has developed a natural, comfortable style that mixes classical structures with jazz elements....James Campbell (is) truly one of the most versatile and flamboyant players on the American scene. Baker has written a lot for him, and no wonder, as Campbell--proved in spades by the recording--has a lot to offer. Cala recorded these at IU and has supplied wondrous sonics."
If this sort of blended style is your cup of tea, drink up!" American Record Guide, May/June 2003
